Okay, I am on a road trip down in Texas. And I really have nothing to say, but I thought I’ll post on my blog because that’s cool.

A couple of days ago, I was eating lunch in the Union with some friends when we noticed that OU had apparently decided that they’d had enough of leap year and the weirdness it causes… [more]
…when your professor assigns a project and gives you two weeks to finish it, and you have it completed and working within three hours of leaving the classroom? …and that time includes purchasing/eating lunch and checking email, forums, and Facebook? I feel like it should have taken longer…
On a completely different subject, Electronics Lab is a lot of fun; my lab partner and I have built a cool DC power supply, which I recently mounted on a plexiglas base (to add to the coolness). Next week we’ll be designing and building a motor controller circuit that, hopefully, will be just as awesome. I’ll make another post here soon with some pictures of the power supply. Some friends of mine are doing an experiment on whether or not it is possible to make an ordinary person famous, just by using the various methods of communication available to us today — mainly, the internet. They currently have a presence on Facebook, myspace, YouTube, xanga, Bebo, and Frappr, plus their own website.
You too can help in this experiment by letting people know about Stewart Adams and The Stewart Adams Project. On their website you can find more information about the project and links to the various internet locations they occupy. If you are part of any of the networks they exist on, you can join their group to stay updated on the current status of their project and any other things they may be doing.
If you are the owner of a blog or website, you can help out their internet status (Google search results, etc) by linking to their site with the text “Stewart Adams” or “The Stewart Adams Project”
It will definitely be interesting to see where this goes.
“Man: Take my umbrellas! Free! They’re not perfect but they’re getting better!
Some People: These are great! Wow, thanks for keeping my head dry. When will the new ones be in?
Other People: What is it you’re not telling us about these alleged umbrellas?
Still Other People: Your whole umbrella idea will never work. I’ve used lots of umbrellas and these are nothing like them.
Some Mean People: Look he cries when I hit him with his stupid umbrella. I can’t believe he made these incredible promises of wonderful new umbrellas. Cry umbrella man! Cry!”
